The new Wren from AGA Stoves
AGA Stoves has added the Wren to its burgeoning range of wood burners. This compact yet powerful new model features clean lines and a large viewing glass, offering homeowners a stunning contemporary take on a traditional design.
The new stove, which measures 590mm high, 450mm wide and 450mm deep, stands on elegant bowed legs to create a purposeful stance. Boasting a generous output for its size (4.7kW), the Wren is perfect for smaller homes and standard fireplaces, while its styling makes it suitable for both modern and traditional interiors. Plus, for additional practicality, the Wren is suitable for burning wood and solid fuel, achieving efficiencies of over 78%.
An additional feature of the Wren is the Active Air Flow System, which carefully channels air below, around and above the firebox to create optimum conditions for combustion and the most efficient use of energy. It also ensures the stoves’ large glass windows remain clean and clear, so homeowners can continually enjoy the impressive flame picture. Finally, all models are DEFRA Smoke Exempt approved, ensuring they are suitable for use in smoke controlled areas.
Commenting on the new model, Nigel Morrison, Marketing Manager at AGA Stoves, said: “We’ve steadily grown the AGA Stoves range over the last year or so, and the Wren is an excellent addition. Its compact size and up to date styling are sure to be popular with homeowners looking to incorporate the cosy warmth of a wood burning stove. Plus, with a sub 5kW output, it’s perfect for a range of room sizes.
